Hi
I recently built a new house and planted about 40 young tress in July 2011. All have taken to their new location and seem to be doing what is needed. I'm keen to better understand can I feed them to incourage them to grow quicker so they look more mature. I appreciate they will take time, but should I be feeding them anyway and if so what is the best feed for young trees (7 foot high)

Thanks

I wouldn't bother fertilizing trees but you could, if you like, use a slow release shrub fertilizer. (Powers or similar)

i'd be in 'don't bother fertilising' camp too. trees are not as demanding on fertility as a lot of other plants are.
