I have only been gardening about two years and have been buying my seeds from premier seeds direct via ebay. Is there any other better value.

Here's a fabulous company and it's an Irish one:
http://www.seedaholic.com/
Brilliant service, with very detailed growing advice about the seeds you buy, really couldn't recommend them more highly. No idea if you can find cheaper seeds elsewhere, but I find them reasonable for my own needs and I love to support an Irish company. |

That is a good site. I like the way they break the flower seeds into planting locations ie: hanging backets |

Seedaholic, Seedparade and B&Q own brand for lettuce and parsnips.
By the way, anyone know if there is a place to swap seeds...?
My space is very limited. I know I can keep them for a few years, but I would rather swap them and grow different veggies every time. |

Mariafp, try swapping seeds with allotment holders, or try to find a local GIY group. Does anyone know of a mail order service dealing in small quantities? I don't have space for 20 pumpkins. 5 seeds would do fine, and I'd still have some plants to give away! |

This is going to be my first growing season in this allotment and I have meet only with a couple of them at the moment. I read about GIY groups in the past, but it's a lot of money for me.
I have Windsor F1 seeds. I bough them last year and I grew only three of them in my back garden. If you want to swap more varieties of seeds, I suppose it would be worth it to spend money in the post. |

Irish Seed Savers, Brown Envelope Seeds, The Organic Centre, Nicky's Seeds.
I bought waaaaaay too many packets in the past. Should they stay viable I won't need to buy more 'til the next decade.
Though packets are cheap, when you've got over a hundred it really adds up. |
