I dug out a small bed before Christmas and now want to plant in it. There is some bits of grass/weeds coming up. Should I put some Glyphosate on all the bed. I understand it will be inactivated by the soil and it is nearly all soil except for the bits of grass weeds.
Should I just spot treat the grass weeds. What is the best way to ensure the bed will have least problems? |

Too early for Glyphosate member11809 as I believe that only works during the major growing season. Middle of March onwards or you are just wasting spray. Any chance you can dig out the grass and then mulch the bed when planted. If you could pop up a pic of the bed and grass it would give us more info. _________________ 'Unemployment is capitalisms way of getting you to plant a garden'.

There is not much grass but it will eventually come through and i wanted to clear it all out before planting |
