I'm sure you're right, kindredspirit,I know nothing about this NZ man......... but it's such a nice thought to start the New Year with ! And we can always hope..........it's about time we had a good summer, isn't it ?
Though it looks as if the doom and gloom merchants about this winter got it all wrong, which proves your point....... |

Happy new Year everyone lets hope for a good summer , i did hear somewhere to expect about another 8 to ten years of this , i hope they are wrong , it was in relation to the 60 year north Atlantic cycle.
Anyone know what the Postman says about it ? |

Wasn't the postman predicting snow back in November ? And someone in Britain the coldest winter for 200 years ? I know it's still early January, but somehow I don't see a repeat of 2010-2011.......
Not a lot we can do anyway. Mind you, I did buy a snow shovel last winter in the hope that I would never get to use it.......so far so good. Now maybe I should give my sun-hats to the charity shop....... |

How I wish.........Ireland is to return to the Celtic Tiger era this Summer......... No prizes for guessing which I'd believe first. |
