hi all can anyone tell me ive have a small plot of ground about an acre and its wet all year round even the summer was thinking of planting christmas trees in bout 1\4 of it would it help to soak up some of the water thanks.

make raised beds or drills about 3-4 feet apart or make small mounds about 5 feet apart. This allows surplus water to drain off. Then plant Norway Spruce which is the more tolerant of the Christmas tree types.
