|
Hello All
Have laid grass seed about three weeks ago now and seedlings appearing and doing well so far. Expect over time, they will comtinue to grow, albeit a bit slower than warmer time of year.
I know that when they reach a certain height, a first light cut shuold be given to help grass to thicken. Should i do this given it would be middle of winter, or should i leave it and wait until Spring?
Many thanks |

If the weather remains mild I would give it a light cut this will improve tillering and thicken the grass. |

the temperature has dropped and is supposed to get colder over the weekend so it might be no harm to wait until the next mild spell |
