I had one of those many years ago in Dublin and for several years it bloomed regularly until one Morning taking a walk around the Garden I noticed the Flowers had rapidly faded overnight. Not having a Computer at the time I contacted Gerry Daly who advised me to get rid of the Shrub ASAP as the Disease can spread to other Plants.
I recently purchased another one and so far its looking Healthy but I'll be keeping a close eye on it, they are a beautiful Shrub and in full bloom they are pleasing to the eye.

Hi Sive. Just dropped a short Note into "Where's Everybody" I'm home 2 Days now Thankfully everything went OK but these Elasticated Nylons are killing me I dont know how you Women wear them, its very slow getting around but everyday is better than the last one. Hope all is well in the South East.

I missed your post, because that topic had rolled over onto another page.......so pleased for you that all went well. It must be great to be back home and a nice time for you too, as you won't be tempted to overdo things in the garden....until the new year at any rate ! I wish you all the best. And I agree about nylons/tights etc......I can't stand them either, that's why I live in trousers !
Beautiful day in the S.E today after 36 hours of quite a lot of rain...totally clear starry skies now.
