Hi can any one tell me what these are,there are a few growing on a steep bank in the back Garden i originally thought they were weeds but seem to be a tree/bush.. I Plan to plant the bank, ( See thread in Garden planning prep/design)

Salix caprea. Sallow/Sally/Pussy Willow/Goat willow. They grow as a shrub tree, so you could keep one or two as a feature. Lovely catkins in spring, and can be pruned in winter at will. Otherwise, dig them up, and remove all the roots while they are small. |
