Hi, I've decided to start a worm bin as an experiment using the worms from my existing compost bin. I want to know are these the right ones to use though. They're much smaller than earthworms, some with yellow rings and/or tips. i took some photos on my phone, they're a bit blurry but maybe someone could identify?

What you are looking for are tiger worms similar to those in the pic
dont try to give each a name as its hard to remember who is who.
Your right when you said your going to experiment, You wont find any long lived wormeries, Whats the bet loads will post saying they have one 20 years and they are churning out the best manure and liquid fertiliser for their garden.
