Any of you tried scarlet runner beans?

I grew some 3 years ago. At least for me, they grew 12 feet tall in 4 weeks.

This year, I plan to grow a big row of them on the west side of our house as both food, and sunscreen for that side of the house.

They grew very well in our polytunnel last year and plan to grow more again this year ... delicious and beautiful.
