Current name is Parthenocissus tricuspidata .
Synonym(s)
Ampelopsis hoggii
Ampelopsis tricuspidata
Vitis inconstans

I have never seen them with trifoliate leaves before. (3 lobes yes, but not trifoliate)
Are there 2 different plants in these pics?

Thanks Guys for the reply's. Hi silver surfer, I asked him, and what he said was, that he picked 3 leaves from the growth on the wall, and he gave them to me, for to upload them on to this site, so i am not 100% sure. I will go myself and take photo tomorrow. Many Thanks.

Humble apologies. I was wrong.
It is just one plant!
I have read up more about Parthenocissus tricuspidata, common name Boston ivy.
Apparently the immature/young plants can have trifoliate leaves!

Quote wiki...
"The leaves are simple, palmately lobed with three lobes, occasionally unlobed or with five lobes, or sufficiently deeply lobed to be palmately compound with (usually) three leaflets; the leaves range from 5-22 cm across."

P.S. Virginia creeper is Parthenocissus quinquefolia and has leaves with 5 leaflets.
