I have heard/read of couple of good reports about this type of hoe recently. As an avid collector/user of hoes, I would appreciate any views on its effectiveness, and where it might be purchased in Ireland. Thanks

As far i'm aware Wilkinson sword are the only manufacturers of the swoe.

Beautiful looking tool, something that I have been looking out for myself.

I bought my Swoe 2 years ago in B & Q.

They might still have stock.

It's a handy little hoe. If you miss 'em on the outward stroke, then you get 'em on the backward one. Very Happy

They look good.. Chillington might be a good place... http://www.chillingtontoolsonline.co.uk/digging-hoes-and-handles-c1

I couldn't see one on the list though but they might make something to order.

I like the oscillating hoes, it's not very often I use any though, I'm just happy for anything to grow on the garden at the moment !... Smile
