Morning guys,

I was up at the allotment last night & bumbed into Roland on my plot, I've noticed a very neat hold burrowed under my Rhubarb but thought nothing of it for a while.

However, last night got me thinking. When I got the plot a year ago there was a half full compost bin that I don't use near to where my rhubarb is. Could it be possible that he's nesting in the bin & burrowing underneath my plot to surface at the rhubarb patch?

What's the best way to tackle this? Any ideas?

Hi Charles. The same Roland has visited himself upon me during the course of the year.... and around and in the compost bin as well. I'm afraid I have resorted to poison in a plastic pipe near the compost bin. The pipe keeps the poison out of harms way and i laid the pipe where I saw his track.

Hey Mayflower, I did get it sorted, I spoke to the owner of the land my plot is on & they looked after it.

I think it's sorted as I haven't seen Roland for a while & no sign of his tracks.
