I have a lovely blue Californian Lliac (Concha) that I would like to take some cuttings of . How do I go about it, what time of year should I take cuttings and how long would it take for them to root. Also are they temperamental in terms of growing from cuttings in terms of water, heat light? Would love to get a few other plants out of the shrub. Do I need to use the rooting powder my mother used to take cuttings of plants and not bother with it just wondering does it need to be used in all plants? |
