If I bought a pyracantha could I let it grow away in the pot and then take it out and part the roots to make two of them? Would it grow in the pot and what should I feed it with? I want to train along a fence but the fence is not ready yet so I want to be getting it ready |

yes you can grow it on in the pot. But you cannot divide it like a herbaceous plant and make two of it. Does not make a great hedge. |

hi banner
as greengage says it wont divide but you can get young plants about a foot high in bnq tallaght 2 for €6 which is great and i think they make a great hedge with flowers in the summer and berries in the winter .they are also a great deterrent for anyone trying to climb over your garden wall very thorny. |
