hi all,
i would like to plant a willow hedge to protect my veg garden from wind(very exposed site) problem is that money is tight at the moment and I'm wondering if I can plant willows found on riverbanks etc? and if so where are the best places to find in North Kerry / North Cork area?
Thanks in advance _________________ This shed business -- it doesn't really matter. The sheds aren't important. A few friends call me Two Sheds and that's all there is to it. I wish you'd ask me about the music. Everybody talks about the sheds. They've got it out of proportion -- I'm a composer. I'm going to get rid of the shed. I'm fed up with it! |

Im not from kerry so dont know where to source them but go to the search panel at top right click in box www.gardenplansireland.com type in wilow hedges into box and this will bring up all posts on willow hedges on this forum. Good luck.
As a matter of intrest it is easily done that is collecting willow and just sticking it in the ground no experience or horticulture knowledge required. |
