Does it bother anyone that garden centres are selling Pelargoniums listed as Geraniums or is it only me. Anyone else get annoyed by this, |

Ditto. But then any mis-labelling / poor labelling annoys me intensely ... reference books aren't much use when trying to identify (and check growing conditions) for the wrong plant.
I was in Woodies earlier this evening and appalled to see a plant -- costing €13.99 -- labelled as "Flax purple/white". Not in quite the same category as the geranium / pelargonium crime, but still outrageous in this so-called enlightened gardening age.
That was the point at which I gave up all hope and went home ! |

poor labelling is annoying but in the case of pelargoniums being called geraniums i can understand as they were always known as geraniums. |
