Yesterday I spotted a brand new baby frog climbing out of my pond. I just couldn't believe it.
I have a Boys Own annual dated 1914 and it says frogspawn is laid in May. I saw frogspawn in my pond in February.
But how did that little frog develop so quickly, surely it should take several months?
Has anyone else noticed anything odd going on with frogs?

Ahh! That old chestnut. You were simply kissing them, and not talking. As Groucho Marx wisely said "I was not kissing her! Merely whispering in her mouth!" |
