Has anybody got a rough idea of a daily cost for clearing a site.? The site is about one quarter of an acre, and reasonably cear, some brambles but mainly grass and perennial weeds. I just want the soil left in a condition that I can layout my own design so I don't require any help once the clearing work is done. The site is in Westmeath.

Cheers for any pointers.

Depends if machinery needed eg digger or labour in good times it would probably have cost you €250 for day but today that would be negotiable.
Why not just spray it off and ahire a large rotovator cost you about€80 for machine and your time spray should cost you about €30 to buy

Thanks, my issue has become time more than any other practical consideration! I could do what you say but I have a lot on at the moment so considering my options so I at least have a space to plant into through the summer!
