Well I am feeling pleased with myself.

This is my second full season with a plot (although I have been growing stuff for years!)

It was rough when I got it, but there are definitely a lot less perrenial weeds like couch now... all hard work - no weedkillers - kinda proud of that!

There might be a photo of all my plants here and one of a nice bed that has Green Manure called Phacelia sown in it for now.

Has anyone used that green manure before? Any good?

I have not used Phacelia as a green manure, but i am familiar with the flower. It can grow to approx 90cm and has a light pink flower.

Of course if you are using this as a green manure you wont want to see the flower developing. Green manure should be harvested or cut down before they flower to prevent them going to seed. This would mean lot of seeds all over your lovely clean vegetable plot! Which would not be good.
