Any truth in the rumour that anyone growing your own food have now to register with the new goverment body for GYO cost €10 per year, covers cost of watering, Spreading manure and storing Decaying vegetation matter on site.

Here's a better idea for Big Brother......gardeners should be rewarded........ for instance I think I should have got tax relief for my forty years of compost making ! Not one scrap of organic material from my household and garden has gone into landfill in all that time !

great idea I should have thought of that it would have made a better april fool.
Think Ill post your idea on another forum see what the reaction is, better still I mention it to my local TD let him get the applause for thinking of something clever, well done.. you could be onto something here thinking outside the box.
