ok guys, a bit of a random question, i was having a chat with a neighbour today and (to cut a long story short) he believes it's the ISPCA who investigate anything to do with anyone suspected of harming or worse killing wildlife protected (by law) in this country...i didn't think the ISPCA had anything to do with that sort of stuff
to put it simply if i for instance saw someone shoot and kill say something like a pine marten (a protected species) and reported it (rightly so) who would come knocking on the shooters door?
does anyone know?

Hi honeybunney
I do a bit of hunting myself and what i can tell you is ,as far as i know it is N.P.W.S. (National Parks and Wildlife Services ) that investigates wildlife crime in this country. |

I agree with the above I know a park wildlife ranger and he would be in like a shot if he knew of any wrong doing. The NPWS are the people responsible for wildlife ISPCA are usually funded by councils or through donations. |
