I would love to get hold of some Oca (Oxalis Tuberosa) tubers - not stocked by suppliers in Ireland - difficult (sold-out) in the UK - expensive postage, and in any case, part of the fun of growing is swapping.

I'll trade for some / all:
- Sprouting Jerusalem Artichoke - great yield
- Strawberry runners
- Autumn Rasperries
- Sorrel plants
I'll even throw in some dried Caraigeen Moss!

South County Dublin would be ideal but can take a trip.

Thanks!

I got them a few years ago from the Irish Seed Savers Association.
There was also some Irish website selling them.
Got wiped out by that chilly spell, was it November 2010?

I got 6 tubers and so will propagate them this year.

By the way, a very nice blog on growing in oca old car tires in Connemara. Have a read at http://connemaracroft.blogspot.com/2011/04/rock-n-rolla-oca.html

The other entries at http://connemaracroft.blogspot.com/ are good too - mainly around the creativity needed to grow anything in a place that takes the full brunt of the Atlantic all year round. And food. Lots about food. Have a look.
