Hey
I just planted some in pots myself. 3 Malling Jewel in 14" square pots one plant per pot. I used just ordinary compost and also threw in a handful or 2 of pine needles as I read online they like it something about the acid I think.
I'm crossing my fingers they'll do ok. One of the stalks had a green shoot coming out with a small leaf when they were still in there pack but once I planted them out it died straight away.

Yep,
Last year I grew Tayberries and Rasberries in pots and they did really well and I got loads of berries and they look set to produce even more this year. You'll need a large pot (I used two 45 inch pots, dont know how many litres that is) and just fill it with store bought compost and thats it. Bear in mind that the restricted root space means that they wont get as big as they would if planted in the ground. |
