Oh wow - yours are huge - had a look at one of my earlies and pebbles would be the best description of them! But they were late going in - I think I just have to be a bit more patient!

I gave mine some tomato feed once a week, whether that helped a lot, a little or not much I don't know. Also heard for earlies that if you pinch off the flowers they'll crop heavier. Wireworms all over the shop when I dug them, despite all of them I killed digging the plot. Still, just one bored, less than 1/8th of an inch too so not so bad so far.

Problem, or not? White dots on me tubers! I think there were white dots on the stalks as well but can't quite remember.

Done a bit of looking up, I think the white dots are "Lenticels" ?
