I have taken cuttings of Grey Sallow and Domestic Apple
And I put them in water, they are straight branch cuttings about 4ft in length. So far I have had them in the water about 3-4 weeks and the grey sallow has green stems appearing, and I have 2 of the apple cuttings in compost which is kept well watered and I put some rooting powder on them.
Anyone know how long it would take for them to start growing roots? I was thinking of doing this with oak too but I think I read that these take a long time to start to root.
Can anyone give me advice on taking tree cuttings of native trees? _________________ My lepidoptera website: www.daveslepidoptera.com
