if planting a container now including winter pansies /violas etc would you use fertiliser and would you feed regularly with tomato feed as in summer? |

It is not necessary to feed container plants during the winter, as fresh potting compost will have all the necessary nutrients. But start feeding with a liquid feed when growth starts in spring.Also regularly deadhead to keep the plants tidy. |
