I got a lovely Bear's Paw Fern "Blue Star" http://www.basicgardendesign.com/gardening-review/broad-leaved-bears-paw-fern-good-in-shade a year ago it's foliage was a lovely steely blue/green and was doing well. However over the last couple of months I have noticed it wilting a bit and getting crispy brown leaves.
I have it in the sitting room in partial shade and we do have the gas fire on there quite a bit in the Winter. Because I got it in Woodies ages ago I haven't got the plant instructions. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong with it I tried to water it a bit and it runs right through the soil maybe I should be giving it a light spray. I'm worried about the temp, light and water for it. It is a lovely coloured fern and I would hate to lose it. |
