Hi All,

As its the time of year for moving and transplanting trees and shrubs I have been thinking that some of you may have trees/shrubs that you dont want anymore. I have attached photos of the area im trying to plant. Basically due to planning conditions I had to put my driveway in as per the pic but this leads to the north unfeatureless side of the house. During the summer I put in a new section of driveway leading to the front door and this created a kind of island which Im hoping to plant out. I sowed some birch trees yesterday to shield the view of the house as you drive in. Then as you drive around the house comes into view. Im hoping for flowering shrubs/trees. I want this area to grow naturally and become a haven for birds and wildlife but yet want it to look good as I have to drive by it every time i go in or out.

Any suggestions you may have are welcome, as are any trees or shrubs. Im near Portarlington and dont mind traveling within reason of course.

my email is laois1000@gmail.com

Thanks in advance
