Zauschneria californica 'Dublin' facts and information.

Originating in Mexico this low growing perennial has an ultimate height of 0.3 metres (12 inches); it has a spread of approx 0.6 metres (2ft).
This plant boasts numerous spikes of red tubular fuchsia-like flowers above its carpeting and bushy branches, these branches are clothed by green foliage covered in grey downy hairs.
Downy hairs such as this reduce water loss through the leaves which gives the plant great drought resistance allowing it to cope in typically dry locations such as containers, rockeries and sunny shallow soiled banks.
This drought tolerant perennial requires a location in full sun.

Kingdom: Plantae
