Can anyone id this plant spotted growing on a cliff in Dunquin near Dingle. I'm afraid the quality of the photos isn't great. I've been through every book I have and can't find this one!

but searched around a little and came across this.

Lesser yellow Trefoil

If its a trifoil it would have a different leaf like a clover or shamrock

golden rod
rose root

Again i guess the leaves dont look right

Thanks for the suggestions folks. It's not a trefoil - wrong leaves and I'd paused at goldenrod too but that's not it. I'd never heard of roseroot but no, it's not a succulent type plant. I thought it might be a garden escapee but neither myself nor my friend could think of anything likely Confused Thought I'd just put it out there to see if any of the experts who hang out here could help! Very Happy
