Is it ever possible to store early potatoes?
This is my situation. I planted Sharpes Express on 27th March this year. I first started harvesting them in mid July. At that time they did not keep, ie within a week they would start to go off even though they were healthy and I was keeping them in a brown paper bag in a dark cupboard. Even those I'd leftover from cooking would go off in the fridge after a few days.

However, those that I harvested in mid August (same crop planted at the same time) don't seem to be going off at all. Does this mean that the extra few weeks in the ground has permitted them to store?
