I grew this cactus from seed in 2008. Last year I put it in a bigger pot and supported it as it was falling over. This year it has a bend in it. I keep it in the porch so it could be growing towards the light or it needs higher support ? I think it needs a deeper pot? what size should i put it in ? The pot it is in now is 18 cm high.the cactus is 54 cm high. Thank you for reading.

I would recommend repotting every year and depending on the size will deprnd on the pot. You may want to place your cactus in a different position as it is bending towards the light ....like a cry for help

I would agree it needs more light and a bigger pot, try a clay pot and water infrequently.

Thank you for your responses. I left it in it's pot and just turned it around. It is getting there I think.

Try just turning it a small amount everyday, this avoids the plant struggling from side to side. It'll become a nice habit after a while..
