I have this plant climbing my back wall. I really like it and would like to identify it please. Also any advice on how to propogate it would be very welcome.

It is a Clematis.
There are several named cultivars it could be.

Looks like Clematis jackmanii.

I think your lovely Clematis is President as the Jackmandii has a black centre and the president has the cream centre. Very easy to cultivate if you follow the link James gave.
