Hi, was just wondering has anyone transplanted a Sea Holly before. I planted a gorgeous Sea holly plant that I got last year. Unfortunately I didnt realise just how big and bushy it gets and planted it in the wrong spot. I waited until March this year and lifted it and moved it to the perfect spot for it with plenty of room. Unfortunately it has got plenty of leafy growth on it but it has not flowered this summer. I've just read that because it has a deep tap root it doesnt like to be transplanted. What I was wondering is if anyone has done this before and if so will it re-establish and flower next year or would I be better off replacing it? |
