Hi,
I am slowing becoming green fingered, but I feel my main treasures are dying at a quicker pace so perhaps someone here can help me readdress the matter!
I have a number of Italian Cypress tress in my garden, about 8 years old at this stage and all had been fine until all the branches on the bottom three feet of one (initially) slowly died - effectively the branches turned a dull brown/grey and became brittle.
I put this down to a nearby wall blocking much of the sunlight from the first number of trees to suffer, then it spead to the trees fully in the sunlight and also further up the tree. Now I fear that it may be something irreversible and as the trees are the main focus point of the garden I am at a loss as to what I can do. Any ideas??
Thanks! |

Hi ringer could you email me a picture of a close up of a dying branch and the tree as a whole?
A lot of possible reasons for death. |
