hi i have a butternut squash plant growing in my greenhouse and it has taken up lots of space I have lots of flowers growing and parts of the plant is growing a few patches of mould like stuff . What is it ? does my plant stand a chance? Two of them are growing mad round each other, am I better to get rid of one to make room for the other one. ?? Also the stem of the plant is going yellow and few leaves, Is it lacking in nutrition or is this supposed to happrn ?? Please help am very confused.!!!

butter nut squashes are best grown outside s they tend to produce far too much foliage inside. Ignore the grey patches but give plenty ventilation. If it is the older leaves that are turning yellow then do not take any action as this is normal. Feed with tomato liquid feed once a week and avoid letting the plants dry out. As the fruit begins to swell after pollination feed 2-3 times a week.
