I planted some bareroot Birch 3 silver, 2 weeping around February. Only one ever started to grow new leaves, the other 4 are doing nowt

If i scrape the bark they are still green, if i palm the braches they bend not break (with my limited knowloedge indicating they are alive)

How long should i "leaf" them in the ground, is there anything I can do to promote/help/safe the trees, (cut braches etc.)
