I wonder if this plant tends to take a rest now and then, like all of us!
I just love it and have three in the garden. One that produced many spikes last and previous years has opted for far fewer this year . A second which struggled to give 3 or 4 last year has now produced so many they are hard to count . The third, granted the youngest had a few last year but none this year. This behaviour seems inconsistent and i know not why. Anybody have the same experience.?
