Hi folks, I picked up this conifer for €1 earlier today - no tag or identification at all - know nothing about them really.
Before I pick a spot for it can anyone tell me which it is so I can google it and see how big it might get.

I might be wrong but it looks like the hedging conifer called tamarisk

Conifers from a pic are very hard.
It may be Cupressus macrocarpa Goldcrest..

I agree with both of you.
Looks like a Goldcrest, albeit one that has been topped many times to create multiple top shoots rather than the typical A type shape.
Knowing Goldcrest it will in time revert to the A shape.

I don't know the answer to that but this has a lovely lemony smell - I'm quite happy with it anyhow.
