Hi quick question
I just planted out my carrot seedlings with marigold all around the edge. With regards the carrot fly do I need to put up barrier straight away? I didnt and now I am worried.
Regards

you are still in time to put up the barrier. No respectable carrot fly would be around in this kind of wintry weather. The best indicator is when the wild carrot is in flower always co-incides with the flight of the carrot fly.
