Hello again. I've not been on here for ages. I retired from UK in 2009 to Mayo Southern Ireland. My garden before we moved in was a meadow so I have had a blank canvas. Thought I was going to lose a lot of plants with the really bad weather we had but its lovely seeing all the new shoots appearing. We have got half an acre and I've made 4 big flower beds and we have also got a big veg patch as well as a polytunnel. Hope to be a bit more into this Forum now we've settled down. |

Hi Margo & welcome from another Mayo member who came back from Uk in 2006, and like you, started with a blank canvas.
Good luck with the garden - good to know you didn't lose too much from the harsh frosts. We lost quite a lot, but some beginning to show signs of life now. I love to see a new leaf or shoot on something I thought I had lost. _________________ Love the outdoors!! |
