Another surprise that popped up. Leaves were similar to a geranium that does self seed everywhere so the flowers were a bit of a surprise but its very pretty - not complaining. For some reason I cant load photo of leaves. The Plant's current height from ground to top of the flower is about 40 to 45cm. Its been flowering for about 10 days now. Thanks for the help.

Thanks so much for all the help. The Daves Garden link had an excellent photo of the foliage and its a definiate match so I am the proud owner of a Trollius. Where did it come from? Its very pretty and is flowering forever. Highly recommended. I have asked it politely to continue its benign invasion.
Thanks again
