I have a Potentiall fruticosa goldfinger and it should have yellow flowers from spring to autumn. The yellow flowers stared but seem to be going brown and others are beginning. i watered it to see if it helps. Any advice on this would be appreciated

Update flowers come out and die off then more come. I want to put some compost on it. I am almost sure it is not acid lover but want to be sure...
