Hi, I love the look of this wedding tier tree but don't know much about it, all i know is that it grows slowly, needs no pruning and grows to 30ft high. So I was wondering would anyone know how slowly this grows and also, where would be a good garden centre to purchase one that is taller than 6ft. The garden centres around us either don't have it or the tallest one I did find was 3ft tall. I live in County Louth but even if there is any garden centre that delivers to your door. I remember a while ago and good centre mentioned in Cork that delivers?
Any help much appreciated. |

Because they are slow growers, to purchase a 6ft specimen will be exorbitant in price.
I managed to get a 3ft one for around €40, which looking at price of the link above, was a bargain.
I would ring up garden centers local to you, and shop around. _________________ "But no one puts flowers

Thanks for getting back. I will look around again, one local centre is getting back to me with a price and size so I am gathering that a 5ft tree is going to cost €100. A lot for a tree.
Thanks again. |

Hi Abbica,
Have you tried Black's Garden Centre Julianstown, just outside Drogheda. If they don't have what you want they can get it for you especially. When I was looking for Bamboos, everywhere I tried was around €70 - €90, but Black's got me smaller ones, (4ft) for €29.00, which meant I could get more of them.
They would be worth a call 041 9829124. |
