|
|
I planted some radish seeds on Sunday evening and by Tuesday evening the shoots had grown to around 1cm.
It's a great feeling growing things from seed and there's always the worry that things won't happen as planned so to have quick germinating plants is a godsend for those of us who are impatient!
Are there other plants that germinate this fast? |

Lettuce, Sunflowers, Broadbeans will all shoot up incredibly quickly too.
Nearly forgot Marigold also. I planted a packet of them last week (last year's seeds and previously opened) and they were through the compost within a couple of days. I was very surprised! |

Fat hen and bittercress. Grrr. Joking aside, rocket and spinach are very good for succesional salad crops. |

Really happy.
Agree with the lettuce and beans, Just been and watered and noticed they were both starting to germinate.
Also got Cabbage, Broccoli, Beetroot and Cauliflower coming through. As my wife just said "I'm like a proud parent" |
