hi fat tony.how is your hozelock 2500 pump and filter going .are you happy with them.i am thinking of using them on a little pond and waterfall soon Very Happy ponddigger Very Happy

Working well, ponddigger. I recently lifted out the pump and checked the impeller and rotor etc. All fine, no real sign of wear after a year of continuous operation. The filter does not really get clogged, either. Have checked it about 3 or 4 times since it went in. Fish are healthy (I have 5 goldfish) and plants are thriving. My only issue is blanketweed, which I have to drag out regularly. Tried a biological solution which didn't work. Am using a chemical treatment at the moment (similar to barley straw) which is helping.
