Am interested in growing climbing Borlotti beans this year, a variety called "lamon" from a seed company called Franchi and can,t find any in galway. Has anybody come across them anywhere don,t realy have access to buy on-line. There was or is a company in Cork and they seemed to be the only supplier in the country e-mailed but no reply, any ideas ? |

I bought these from Homebase in Limerick last year. They didn't perform brilliantly, but I'll be trying again this year. I reckon the local kids reduced the crop somewhat- they're allowed to eat as many sugar snaps and mangetout as they like, and I think lots of borlotti got picked and rejected by mistake! |
