Hi All- I bought some Allium bulbs last autumn and the snow came so quickly I never got a chance to plant them. They have been in the shed all winter and had a look at them today, there is a small bit of growth out of the top end. I'm assuming the ground will be too cold to plant them so do I have to wait until autumn later this year to plant them?
Thanks!

Maybe you could put them into pots and let them start to grow ? You've nothing to lose, they're better off in compost than drying out in the shed. Then when you're ready pop them into the ground, or leave them in pots for this season. |
