|
|
Hi,
I have an area of concrete in my garden that i was thinking of digging up and using to grow mainly fruit bushes. I have had a few quotes to do the job but nothing that i can afford, so I was thinking of maybe building some raised beds on it instead.
Would this work? or is it a bad idea to build them on top of concrete, I want them long term, so if they would only last a year or two, i'll have to reconsider digging up the concrete.
Would the bushes get enough nutrients from a raised bed?
Thanks for your help

if it a long term thing, I would take up the concrete, otherwise they are going to dry out much quicker, and unless they are very deep, the plants wont be happy. |
